My Approach
I offer a trauma-informed, deeply compassionate space where your grief is met with zero judgement and absolute care. Central to my work is the belief that nature is an essential partner in healing. Sessions are hosted at my rewilding project, offering a peaceful environment away from traditional office walls. Here, surrounded by nature, we work together to process your loss, honour your story, begin meaning-making, and help you find steady ground, guided by both professional support and the quiet, restorative power of the outdoors.

What to Expect
Navigating grief requires safety, patience, and genuine care. I offer a gentle, trauma-aware space to explore loss, whether in person at Bilberry Boreen, online, or at another setting where you feel most at ease. Together, we move at a pace that feels right for you, providing a kind, steady hand and dedicated support as you process your journey. There is a cosy livingroom with sofas, cushions and blankets where we will usually hold our sessions, but weather or mood permitting we can also be outside. Teas and coffee available in the kitchen. As an eco conscious space please be aware the toilet facilities are compost toilets.
Safe & Grounding Environment
I create a quiet, secure environment at Bilberry Boreen and online where you can feel safe to explore your grief without pressure or expectation.
Empowerment & Trust
You hold full autonomy over your journey. Guided by steady compassion, we move at your pace, respecting your boundaries and honouring your choices every step of the way.
Clear Communication
I offer open, transparent, and honest dialogue with zero hidden expectations, ensuring you always know what to expect and feel heard at all times.

Workplace Workshops & Training
How an organisation responds when an employee experiences a significant loss directly impacts culture, retention, and workplace wellbeing. I deliver trauma-informed, practical workshops for managers, HR teams, and People leaders to help them navigate these sensitive transitions with clarity and compassion. From return-to-work planning to managing team dynamics after a loss, these sessions equip your leadership with actionable strategies to support staff effectively while maintaining clear, professional boundaries.
Group Support Sessions in a cosy room (with online option)
Every Monday from 7:30pm to 9pm (GMT) I host a Grief and Loss Support Group for locals. If you're local to Cork or Kerry please feel free to book a spot on the Monday evening.
I am also planning on hosting another online support group open to people from all over the world. Please get in touch if you're interested but please note these will be limited numbers to ensure a safe and comfortable space for sharing.

About

Lizzie Fleming
I am a grief and loss coach with a background in healthcare and dedicated academic training in grief and loss and end-of-life support. I hold an MSc in Coaching from University College Cork, where my thesis focused on end-of-life matters, alongside diplomas in trauma-informed care and grief support.
My work is deeply grounded in the natural environment and in my own history of grief and loss.
Before shifting into coaching full-time, I ran an eco campsite on my land, which I have since transitioned into an active rewilding project. I chose to host sessions here at Bilberry Boreen because indoor, clinical settings do not suit everyone when processing loss. My approach combines practical coaching tools, trauma-informed principles, and a calm natural setting to help you navigate your experience step-by-step, at a pace that works for you.
